'SILVER WORKS and MORE' is Jim and Cara Connelly's warm and inviting fine crafts gallery, featuring Jim's original jewelry designs in sterling silver, gold and platinum. Although his work takes center stage, this unique gallery presents 'more' jewelry, ceramics, fiber, glass and furniture produced by over 60 local, regional and nationally renowned craftsmen. After attaining his graduate degree in metalsmithing from The University of Kansas, Jim opened Silver Works in April of 1974 as a studio/gallery in The Casbah. During his years in business, Jim has exhibited his work in California, Canada, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, and New York. Jim's exquisite designs and beautifully crafted pieces, including an array of rings, pendants, bracelets, pins and earrings, are created and displayed at 715 MASSACHUSETTS, the gallery's home since 1985.
